Butler County is divided into 13 townships: Fairfield, Hanover, Lemon, Liberty, Madison, Milford, Morgan, Oxford, Reily, Ross, St. Clair, Wayne, and West Chester.  Butler has six cities:   Hamilton, Middletown, Fairfield, Oxford, Trenton, Monroe, and seven villages: College Corner, Jacksonburg, Millville, New Miami, Seven Mile and Somerville.
